Kim Koson has studied under Swamis Dharmakeerti, Devamaya, Yogabhakti and others in many areas of yoga including the 'Bhagavad Gita', 'Yoga Nidra' and women's health. She has traveled to India five times and continues to expand her knowledge and integrate the experience of yoga into all aspects of her life. Most recently, she spent 5 months in India and completed a 4-month certificate course in Yogic Studies.

Kim loves the therapeutic aspect of yoga - the way it meets a person right where they are, no matter where they are & gives them permission to accept themselves and any limitations or conditions they may currently have (and we ALL have them!). She also loves the ability to take the practice 'off the mat' into life where our mental activity tends to limit not just our flexibility but also, our ability to remember who we are at the innermost part of our being, whole, complete, and perfectly divine!

Her Teacher Certifications are in Hatha Yoga (Basic, Prenatal & Postnatal) from Integral Yoga in Buckingham, Virginia, as well as from Integrative Yoga Therapy.

Kim has co-led week-long healing retreats with the Director of Integrative Yoga Therapy, assisted in Integrative Yoga Therapy Teacher Training Intensives, Mentored Yoga Teacher Trainees, and has made presentations on the subjects of Yoga and Fibromyalgia, Stress Management, Anxiety Management, Benefits to Cancer Survivors, the Therapeutic Value of Yoga, and Yoga for Pregnancy & Childbirth.  She has taught at numerous locations throughout Medina & surrounding counties since 1996, including Yoga During Pregnancy & Yoga for Stress Management at Medina General Hospital for 11 years until 2008.
